Back-Seal Pouch
Features:The back-seal pouch (also known as a center-seal, fin-seal or pillow bag) is a common bag style formed by wrapping plastic or laminated film into a tube, heat-sealing it down the center of the back, and finally sealing the top and bottom ends.
Applications:Standard back-seal pouch: the most basic flat body, taking on a pillow shape once filled; commonly used for potato chips, instant noodle blocks and individually wrapped biscuits.
Gusseted back-seal pouch: M-shaped gussets are folded inwards on both sides of the bag. Once filled the bag opens out into a square structure with far greater capacity and a base that stands flat; commonly used for coffee bean bags, tea bags and large pet food packs.
